**CITY OF PITTSFIELD - BID NOTICE**

**Sealed Bids for City-Owned Properties**

 

The City of Pittsfield is accepting sealed bids for the properties listed below. Interested parties are invited to submit their bids in accordance with the specified guidelines.

 

**Properties:**

630 W Jefferson Street, Pittsfield, IL 62363 (House and Lot) – 54-100-10

427 N. Mississippi Street (Empty Lot) - 54-089-13

10 Acres behind Farm & Home – 54-052-12A

Chestnut Court Empty Lot 54-028-10

Lot 3B Industrial Park 3.44 acres 53-053-02

Zoe Theater and Empty Lot 54-066-03 & 54-066-04

**Submission Deadline:**

All sealed bids must be returned to City Hall no later than January 26, 2024.

 

**Bid Conditions:**

1. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

2. Plans of intended use or rehabilitation, along with the timeline of intended completion, must be submitted with the bid.

3. Bidders are advised that the highest bid may not necessarily be the winning bid, as plans will be considered as part of the award process.

4. Work on the awarded properties must commence within two years of the bid acceptance date. Failure to do so may result in the City repurchasing the property at the original sale price.

5. The City retains the first option to purchase the property at the sale price if the property is sold during the agreed-upon timeframe.

6. Closing must occur within 30 days of bid award.

 

**Submission Instructions:**

1. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked "Property Bid - [Property Address]" on the envelope.

2. Submit bids to the following address:

   215 North Monroe Street

   Pittsfield, IL 62363

 

3. Bids must be received by January 26, 2024 at 4:00pm.
