GAS/WATER/WASTEWATER LABORER
Skilled labor responsible for day-to-day operation of the City’s Gas/Water distribution system.
Maintenance, operation and compliance activities of a natural gas and water distribution system.
Meter reading.
Maintenance and installation of water and gas meters.
Must be gas operator certified within 2 years of hire date and recertify every 3 years thereafter
Responsible for weekend on-call on a department rotation.
Other duties as assigned.

STREET AND ALLEY LABORER
Completes general maintenance of city streets and alleys such as patching of asphalt and concrete, crack sealing, snow removal, cleaning of storm sewer inlets, catch basins and manholes.
Maintain the flow of sanitary sewer lines
Form and pour concrete
Perform brush and tree removal
Empty trash barrels on square and school
Assist in set up and clean-up of city festivals and events
Complete projects in a professional and timely manner
Follow safety protocols at all times
Other duties as assigned
