We currently have a water break at the intersection of Gay and Orchard. We have a crew on the way. Please avoid that area if possible. We will post updates if boil orders are required. UPDATE: There will be a temporary shutdown of water on Orchard from Gay St. to Spring St. and on Gay from Orchard, West to dead end. These areas will be under a boil order until further notice.

JWCC is pleased to announce two exciting Creative Arts classes for this spring season. These classes will be held in Quincy at the John Wood Community College but if there is enough interest we could bring these classes to town. Let me know if you are interested! - Introduction to Latin Dancing Experience the joy and rhythm of Latin dancing in this beginner-friendly course. Participants will learn essential techniques including walking, turning, and synchronizing movements to the beat of the drums. The class will introduce dancers to styles such as the Cuban Bolero, Colombian Cumbia, and Dominican Bachata, progressively building confidence to tackle faster rhythms. Please note that if you are registering as a couple, each partner must complete a separate registration form, with your partner’s name included on your submission. Cost: $50 | Instructor: Ignacio Anguiano-Reyes Schedule: Wednesdays, March 19 and 26, April 2 and 9, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. -Quilting 101 This class is designed to introduce participants to the foundational skills of quilting. You will learn how to accurately cut with a rotary cutter, piece fabric together, and assemble a quilt top.
