We have signs ordered to mark location from road. Here is a map showing location.
The kayak boat ramp has been poured at the lake, should be finished by next week!

The work is completed at the intersection of Memorial and Fair and is now open to traffic.
The Gas Department is working on a repair on Madison at Jefferson. Please be cautious if you must travel in that area.
The intersection of S. Madison and Fayette Streets will be closed on July 21 from 5 am - 7 am for completion of crosswalk painting. Please avoid the area if possible.

I wanted to share the photos of Gibson, 5, and Emerysn, 3, the children of Garrett and Erin White of Pittsfield. They never miss a year of getting their pictures taken during the 4th of July when the flags are around the square. These photos were forwarded to me by their Great Aunt Joyce, who lives out of town, with a very nice note that stated " I think their pictures depict the kind of town they live in, and the pride the citizens take in decorating for holidays, such as the 4th of July." I just wanted to share Joyce's kind words and thoughts and also thank all the volunteers that assist with our flag display throughout the year !

Pittsfield City Offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day. Offices will resume normal business on Wednesday, July 5th. The normal Tuesday scheduled Counsel Meeting will be on Wednesday, July 5th at 6pm. Thanks and we wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July!
N Dutton is back down to one lane traffic, Cass Cable is on scene repairing cable lines. Please be careful traveling thru this area!

UPDATE:
The estimated time to get electricity restored in the North Dutton area is 3 to 4 hours. Ameren worked into the early morning hours and are back on site this morning!
N Dtton Street Area should have electricity by 8pm this evening!

The City crews will be starting to pick up brush today and will go around again next week for the scheduled pick up and to allow people to get brush out over the weekend. Please be patient, we will get around to everyone, there is a lot of storm damage.
Also we are working with Ameren to get N. Dutton and a few other streets opened as soon as possible.
