We’re kicking off the 2nd Annual Music With a Mission with one of Pittsfield’s own Evan Darnell! 🙌
At just 17 years old, Evan Darnell is emerging as a compelling new voice in the world of country folk gospel music. With a guitar in hand and a heart full of stories, Evan's music speaks to a deep faith and connection to the American folk tradition. He draws inspiration from the honest storytelling of classic country, the raw emotion of folk music, and the unwavering hope found in gospel hymns. Evan's sound is characterized by his clear, resonant vocals and intricate fingerpicking. He crafts narratives within his songs that paint pictures of Everday life, aced with messages of hope, redemption, and the enduring power of faith. Whether performing heartfelt originals or reimaging cherished hymns, Evan's lyrical abilities showcase a maturity beyond his years. He weaves together personal experiences with timeless themes, creating music that is both relatable and spiritually uplifting. On Saturday, August 30th, there will be NO PARKING on the West side of the Square from 5:30 AM to approximately 3:30 PM.
🚫 Parking restrictions will be in place from Washington St. to Perry St. this will make room for the Hooligan Car Show during the Fall Festival.
We appreciate your cooperation and can’t wait to see everyone at this year’s festival! 🎉
