The City of Pittsfield in coordination with Newburg township will be installing some new culverts across 270th Avenue (the road on North end of the lake). To complete this work the road will be closed from the Northeast entrance of the lake to approximately 1/2 mile West of the North boat ramp road. Access for residents will still be available from the West lake road. The work will start at approximately 8:30 AM tomorrow morning July 16th and should be open later in the day. Since the brush yard will be harder to access tomorrow we will have it open Wednesday this week too. UPDATE!!! Due to the rains last night and the possibility of heavy rain today we are postponing this project until tomorrow. The brush yard will be open today, tomorrow, and Thursday. But during the work tomorrow the brush yard will only accessible by the West lake road.
