The foutain at King Park has been installed for the season !

Please be cautious in the area of King Park, we are removing a dead tree by the play ground equipment.

We will have crews out picking up limbs to clear the roadways today. We will have regular brush pick up next Monday, March 6th this will allow everyone time to bring storm damage to the curb.

Due to the wind there is a lot of debris down and some lane blockages. Crews are on the way to clear the roads Please use caution when driving. Also there is a l pole down at Jackson and Higbee with wires on the ground, Ameren has been notified.

We are experiencing issues with the stop lights at Jackson and Washington. They are currently flashing four way stop. We have a tech en route to work on them hopefully we can resolve the issue quickly. The stop lights have been repaired

Today, February 17, 2023, the 600 block of W. Fayette St. will be down to one lane near the middle of the block. The Pittsfield Water Department will be installing new water service in that area. The road will be down to one lane until the work is completed later today..

The gas line repair on Fair Street has been completed and Fair Street is open. Please be cautious as there are barricades at the repair site.

Fair St will be closed for a gas line repair and will remain closed until tomorrow at 5 PM Please avoid that area if possible residents in that area will be able to get to their homes from Memorial St

The Boil Order that was issued early Friday morning for Walnut St. between Jill and Lowry and all of Curtis St. has been lifted.

There will be a boil order until further notice for all residents on Walnut St. from Lowry St. to Jill. St. and all of Curtis St. Due to a water main break. Please use caution if traveling in that area, there may be icy patches as a result of the leak. We will post an update when the boil order is lifted.

There is a water main break on S. Walnut between Curtis St. and Jill St. Residents on Walnut between Jill and Lowry Streets and those on Curtis St. may experience low or no water pressure during this repair. This area may be subject to a boil order. Sorry for any inconvenience.
