RESTORE PITTSFIELD INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The Pittsfield City Council has just launched the Restore Pittsfield Incentive Program, a big step toward improving housing and strengthening our neighborhoods! 💪
Here’s how it works ⬇️
🔹 The City will reimburse 50% of the disposal cost (up to $5,000) to tear down and clean up any residential property.
🔹 Removal and replacement must happen within 12 months of applying.
🔹 Plans must be reviewed and approved by the Public Works Director (or designee) before removal begins.
🔹 Replacement homes must fit the neighborhood in size and style, and meet zoning requirements.
This program is designed to help restore and improve housing across Pittsfield, making our community even stronger and more welcoming for families, neighbors, and future generations. ❤️

The Pittsfield City Council has officially updated the Business Incentive Program to include In-Home Daycares! 🎉
We all know there is a shortage of certified in-home daycares, and this program is designed to help encourage new providers to open right here in our community. This means more safe, reliable childcare options for families, and more opportunities for local entrepreneurs! 👶🏡
✅ Eligible new brick-and-mortar businesses (with 2–20 full-time employees) already qualify, and now certified in-home daycares can also receive:
🔹 100% Rebate on Gas, Water & Sewer for the first 6 months
🔹 50% Rebate on Gas, Water & Sewer for months 7–12 (up to $5,000 total)
This is a huge step forward for our community, but we need YOUR help to spread the word! 🙌 If you know someone who has ever thought about opening an in-home daycare, now is the perfect time.
