City of Pittsfield Public Notice: Water Pressure Update Earlier this evening, we identified the issue that caused low water pressure in certain areas. A pressure surge led to fluctuations in water pressure and caused high flow variations depending on the location. This also disturbed sedimentation in the pipes, resulting in some areas experiencing cloudy or dirty-looking water. Please be assured that at no time did the pressure fall below 20 psi, which is the threshold for a boil order. There is no need to boil your water. If you have cloudy water let your faucet run to attempt clear it. We will work with customers to flush hydrants to help clear up the water as time allows and as needed. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we resolve this issue. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Public Works Department. City of Pittsfield

**City of Pittsfield Public Notice: Water Pressure Issues** Attention Pittsfield Residents: We are aware that various areas in town are experiencing low or no water pressure. Our dedicated crews are actively working to identify and correct the problem. Until we have definitive answers, we advise all residents experiencing low or no water pressure to adhere to a boil order. Please ensure that all water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth is boiled for at least one minute to ensure safety. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this issue. For updates, please check the City of Pittsfield Facebook page and our website regularly. Thank you, City of Pittsfield #Pittsfield #PublicNotice #WaterPressure #BoilOrder #StaySafe
